DUTIES INCLUDE

  Ag related college degree or 5 years of beef sales experience; valid driver’s license; excellent written and oral communication skills.


CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (FULL-TIME)

LOCATION:  Sioux Center

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Responsible for the financial and risk management operations of the organization; including development of a short and long term financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, whil also developing and monitoring control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent business experience, Masters and/or CPA preferred. 


GRAIN SUPERINTENDENT/LOCATION MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

LOCATION:  Little Rock

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Oversee all aspects of the operations of the location; including safety, maintenance, grain division, performs and coordinates loading and unloading inbound and outbound grain, fertilizer and anhydrous, dispatch of agronomy equipment, all while striving to meet the demands of the customer.   

REQUIREMENTS: 
 While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time.  The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.  The employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and maneuver on and off a mobile equipment.  Ability of close, distant, color and peripheral vision is required; along with accurate depth perception.    The physicality of this job is high.    


DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION (FULL-TIME)

LOCATION:  Sioux Center

DUTIES INCLUDE: Oversee trucking and logistic operations including feed, grain, agronomy and the How-To Building Center. Responsible for business decisions and the mutual success of the feed, grain and agronomy divisions through internal service. Knowledgeable on all regulatory compliance guidelines and stay up to date on industry best practices and guidelines (including but not limited to DOT & FSMA).  Assist Safety Manager in ensuring all regulatory compliance requirements are being met by transportation department and employees. Oversee transportation scheduling to achieve distribution optimization for our feed department, including driver scheduling to meet organizational needs while complying with DOT regulations. Supervise all location trucking supervisors and assists staff in reaching full potential through coaching and training. Oversee FCS contract hauling for all locations/divisions and set contracts, rates and expectations for outside contract trucking companies to insure we are covered in peak times, cost competitive and in compliance with quality and safety regulations. Assists in other departmental or organizational needs as requested by CEO.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field. 5+ years of experience in logistics, trucking, management or related field. 5+ years management experience with direct management of drivers.

AGRONOMIST (FULL-TIME)

LOCATION:  Boyden

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Customer acquisition and retention; liaison between agronomy customers and researchers

REQUIREMENTS:  Experience in Agronomy and sales; strong customer service and communication skills; positive & progressive work history


DAY FEED TRUCK DRIVERS (FULL-TIME)

LOCATIONS:  Sioux Center, Boyden

REQUIREMENTS:  Class A or B CDL or be willing to obtain; High School diploma; valid Driver's License; progressive & positive work history; willing to work in a team environment


NIGHT FEED TRUCK DRIVERS (FULL-TIME or PART-TIME)

LOCATIONS- FULL-TIME: All FCS locations

LOCATIONS - PART-TIME (flexible hours): All FCS locations

REQUIREMENTS:  Class A or B CDL or be willing to obtain; High School diploma; valid Driver's License; progressive & positive work history; willing to work in a team environment


AGRONOMY APPLICATORS (FULL-TIME)

LOCATIONS:  Sanborn, Sioux Center

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Custom application of commercial fertilizer; light maintenance; other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:  Class A or B CDL or be willing to obtain; Applicator's License or be willing to obtain; valid Driver's License; clean driving record; progressive & positive work history


GRAIN SUPERINTENDENT (FULL-TIME)

LOCATIONS: Little Rock, Ritter

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Inbound and outbound grain; analyzing and documenting quality of grain; machinery operation (forklifts, loaders, tractors, etc.); maintenance, supervision of part-time and seasonal grain department help

REQUIREMENTS:  Previous grain operations experience; Valid Driver's License; progressive & positive work history; willing to work in a team environment


GRAIN HANDLER (FULL-TIME)

LOCATIONS:  Ireton

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Dumping & loading grain trucks; maintenance of grain handling equipment; drying grain; pile pickup; able to work at other locations as needed; work from elevated heights; able to lift 50lbs; work outside in temperature extremes; other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:  High School diploma; valid driver's license; progressive & positive work history; willing to work in a team environment


TENDER TRUCK DRIVERS (SEASONAL)

LOCATIONS:  All FCS locations

DUTIES INCLUDE:  Loading/unloading commercial fertilizer; commercial fertilizer delivery to applicator

REQUIREMENTS:  Class A or B CDL, or be willing to obtain; clean driving record; progressive, positive work history; willing to work in a team environment
