Seed is the foundation of the growing FCS agronomy division. Our goal is to be the premier seed dealer in our trade territory. Our plot system is another key element of our seed business: We test multiple products across our entire territory with an extensive plot system. These plots provide local testing data, afford training opportunities for growers, and sites for summer crop clinics during which we hold hands-on discussions of current production problems and proposed solutions.

A very unique aspect of our seed business is our focus on forage. In our trade territory, there are thousands of acres of alfalfa, silage, and other forages planted and harvested. We have partnered with our highly successful Feed Division to become experts in managing forages and maximizing yields.
