Farmers Coop Society is dedicated to the education of our youth and the promotion and support of the future of agriculture. FFA Chapters across the area work to educate and provide opportunities for students to learn and develop skills needed for a future career in the agriculture industry. Farmers Coop Society has announced grants totaling $12,500 to fourteen FFA Chapters in Northwest Iowa, Southeast South Dakota, and Southwest Minnesota.
“We are proud to support the different FFA chapters and can’t think of a better way to support the future of our industry than to support our future farmers.” said John McDaniel, CEO at Farmers Coop Society.
Farmers Coop Society has donated to FFA Chapters at: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, Boyden-Hull, Sioux Center, West Sioux, Sheldon, George-Little Rock, Western Christian, Unity Christian, Alcester-Hudson SD, Lennox-Sundrom SD, Fulda MN, Akron-Westfield, Sibley-Ocheyedan, and Canton SD.
“Each chapter has such a variety of projects and events they participate in throughout the year, it’s great to see how each chapter utilizes the resources they have to better the students and their communities,” said McDaniel.
Farmers Coop Society is a member owned cooperative with ten locations across Northwest Iowa, Southeast South Dakota, and Southwest Minnesota. FCS offers patrons products and services in agronomy, feed, and grain as well as operates the How-to Building Center in Sioux Center.
