2025 Scholarship Recipients
Kelsey Oolman
Kelsey Oolman, a senior at MOC-Floyd Valley High School, is eager to attend Dordt University, where she will major in Nursing with a minor in Biomedical Science. Growing up on her family farm in Sioux County, she developed a strong work ethic through her involvement in 4-H and FFA leadership, as well as showing cattle. Kelsey has served as the FFA president, worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and excelled in the National Honor Society. She is passionate about making a difference and is ready to combine her love for rural life with her interest in healthcare to create a brighter future for her community and beyond!
Ethan Hansen
Ethan Hansen, a senior at Spencer High School, has been recognized for his dedication to agriculture and academic excellence. Raised on a family farm in Clay County, Ethan gained firsthand experience with both livestock and crop production, inspiring his future in the agricultural industry. He plans to attend South Dakota State University to major in Agronomy with minors in Ag Business and Precision Ag, aiming to return home and use his education to advance local farming practices. A leader in 4-H, National Honor Society, and his church, Ethan exemplifies commitment to both his community and the future of agriculture.
Kylee Schiphoff
Kylee Schiphoff, a senior at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School, plans to attend South Dakota State University to major in Public Relations with a minor in Agriculture. Growing up on her family’s farm in O'Brien County, Kylee has been deeply involved in raising hogs, helping during harvest, and staying active in 4-H, FFA, and multiple sports. She has earned numerous honors in volleyball and basketball, all while balancing work as a barista, babysitter, and farmhand. Kylee’s passion for agriculture and community engagement drives her goal of marketing for an ag-based business after college. She hopes to use her voice to support family farms and promote a bright, technology-driven future for agriculture.
Marshall Schiphoff
Marshall Schiphoff, a senior at Sibley-Ocheyedan High School, is passionate about both agriculture and community service. Growing up on his family farm in Melvin, Iowa, Marshall has developed a strong foundation in agriculture, where his family operates a row crop and cattle operation. His dedication to agriculture is evident in his involvement with FFA, where he has served as Treasurer and is now President of his chapter. Marshall plans to attend Northeast Iowa Community College, majoring in the John Deere Service Technician Program, to return to his hometown and work at C&B Operations in Sibley while continuing the family tradition of farming. With his vision for the future of agriculture and his leadership skills, Marshall is a promising young leader in his community.
Alison Wolf
Alison Wolf, a senior at Sheldon Community High School, plans to major in Pre-Law at the University of South Dakota. She aspires to launch her career as a county attorney. Growing up on her family’s century farm, Alison developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for agriculture, values she has carried into her leadership roles in FFA, National Honor Society, and student government. In addition to excelling in academics and athletics, she has also worked as a barista and a lifeguard, demonstrating her commitment to hard work and service. Alison is passionate about using her future legal career to advocate for sustainable agriculture, fair policies, and the rights of farmers.

Hannah Ahart, a senior at Alcester-Hudson High School, plans to attend Northern State University to major in Elementary Education. Growing up on her family’s farm in Union County, Iowa, Hannah developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for agriculture while helping with cattle and farm chores. She is a dedicated student and leader, serving as class president, student council representative, and volleyball team captain, while earning numerous academic and extracurricular honors. Hannah looks forward to teaching in a small South Dakota school and hopes to inspire future generations both in the classroom and on the athletic field.
Bryce Fedders
Bryce Fedders, a senior at Unity Christian High School, has a deep passion for livestock and the future of agriculture. Growing up on his family’s feedlot and grain farm near Ireton, Iowa, he’s gained hands-on experience in everything from cattle feeding to custom hay and hog work. Bryce plans to study Animal Science with a Production Management specialization at South Dakota State University, to become a livestock nutritionist and eventually manage a feedlot or cow-calf operation. Through leadership roles in FFA and 4-H, Bryce has shown a strong commitment to agriculture and inspiring the next generation of farmers. His dedication, experience, and vision make him a valuable asset to the future of the ag industry.
Alexis Hulstein
Alexis Hulstein, a senior at Sibley-Ocheyedan High School, plans to attend Northwest Iowa Community College to pursue a degree in Radiologic Technology. Raised on her family’s grain farm in Melvin, Iowa, Alexis has been deeply influenced by her agricultural background, which instilled a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. She has demonstrated leadership through active involvement in FFA, 4-H, and the National Honor Society, and has balanced her academics with part-time work at a local coffeehouse. Alexis hopes to return to Northwest Iowa after college to serve her community while continuing to support and advocate for agriculture.
