In 2008, I became an Agronomy Sales Manager and in 2015, I became the Agronomy Department Manager. My favorite part of working at Farmers Coop Society is working with all of our employees.

I am originally from Treynor, Iowa and I first started in the Agriculture Industry in 1993 by mixing fertilizer and running floaters for Treynor Ag Supply. In 1997, I moved to Waulkee for two years, running floaters and working in a grain elevator. In 1999, I worked for Agriland FS as a location manager of three locations. After 11 years, I moved to Orange City and started working for Farmers Coop Society in Sanborn where I managed the Agronomy Operations for the Eastern Division. In 2014, I became a location manager of the Sioux Center Agronomy Department. And in November of 2015, I became the Agronomy Operations Manager for FCS. August 2016 took me back to Sanborn, as the Eastern Division Manager/Agronomy Operations Manager. I enjoy helping out all divisions by making sure we have people in place throughout the company for all operations to succeed.

I’m originally from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. I started with Farmers Coop Society in 1992 as a crop scout and custom applicator. In 1996, my wife and I decided to drive truck full time. I drove truck long haul for 3 ½ years and then came back to FCS in 2000 as a custom applicator. In 2005, I started my current role as Nutrient Management Specialist. I enjoy working with farmers and challenging them to do the best job possible utilizing nutrients produced by their livestock.

I’m originally from Sibley, IA but live in Ashton, IA. I’ve worked in Agriculture since 2009, when I worked for United Farmers Coop/Cooperative Farmers Elevator. In 2017, I joined Farmers Coop Society as a Custom Applicator. I became the Little Rock Location Manager in June 2018. My favorite part of the job is working with our customers and learning and taking on new challenges. I also enjoy working on maintaining the facility and our equipment.

In 2006, I became a Precision Ag Specialist for NEW Coop in Ft. Dodge. I began working for Farmers Coop Society in 2012 as their Precision Ag Specialist in Boyden. Today, I’m the Precision Ag Manager and my favorite part of working at Farmers Coop Society is helping a grower’s operation use new technology and seeing their excitement as it works on their operation.

Tyson grew up on a family farm in central South Dakota, where he was involved in a diversified crop, livestock, and dairy operation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from South Dakota State University, and has worked as an agronomist since 2013. Daniel DeBoer
Daniel grew up on a row crop farm just outside of Sibley, IA. He attended Sibley-Ocheyedan high school and went on to attend South Dakota State University with a major in Ag Systems Technology and a minor in Agronomy. He worked on his family farm up until his senior year of high school. He then worked in a body shop and then started doing internships at local Coops. Daniel worked for CFE in Sibley doing crop scouting, securing chemicals, and scouting for aphids. He then interned at FCS doing the same type of internship, more with taking care of plots and spraying trials. He also gained experience working with the Precision Ag Team. After his internship, Daniel started full time at FCS in Sioux Center running the chemical warehouse. He then took the position of his current role, Agronomy Tech, and loves the position because of all the variety that comes with the job. He lives in Hospers, IA and enjoys hanging out with family, enjoying the outdoors, and shooting trap when he isn't busy at work.

I spent my younger years on a Beef/Swine Farm near Oskaloosa, IA. I started with Farmers Coop Society as a Dairy Nutritionist/Salesperson soon after I graduated Dordt in 2002. Later, I became a Beef Nutritionist/Salesperson and lead the ruminant team for FCS. I also managed our 10,000 head custom feedlot for a couple of years. Once the feedlot sold; I became the Feed Sales Manager for FCS for the swine, beef, and dairy teams. And in May 2017, I became the Feed Division Manager. My favorite part of working for Farmers Coop Society is working with our customers and prospects to find new and improved ways to serve them. Helping our patrons become more sustainable and creating a win/win for our customers and FCS is always a goal.

Prior to joining our team, Scott was a Regional Plant Manager at Hubbard Feeds, Inc and has over 26 years of experience in feed manufacturing management. In 2020, Scott joined the FCS Team as the Eastern Division Feed Mill Operations Manager.
Scott and his wife Ammie currently live in Sergeant Bluff, IA with their two children Kaitlyn (19) and Karlie(15). Scott is originally from Olathe, Kansas. He attended college at Kansas State where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Milling Science and Management.

Jason is originally from Terre Haute, IN but his career has taken him from Indiana to California to Illinois and now Iowa. Jason graduated from Purdue in 2000 and has spent the last 15 years in operations with ABF Freight System in LTL. He was responsible for inbound and outbound linehaul dispatch as well as being an operations manager.
Jason and his wife Stephanie have two kids. Lyssa, who is turning 9 next month, and Kaeden who is seven. Jason enjoys spending time with his family and their new great Dane pup or as Jason refers to him- his small horse. His name is Hightower and 120 lbs.

I was born and raised on a farrow to finish hog farm a few miles east of Hospers, IA. I went to high school in Orange City before graduating and going through undergrad and vet school at Iowa State University. I graduated from ISU in 2014 with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. I have been married to my wife Megan for 11 years and we have been blessed with 4 boys. We live on an acreage near Alton, IA. I started with Farmers Coop Society in late 2019 as veterinarian for the Proven Swine Management team. Before joining FCS I worked as an associate veterinarian for Orange City Vet Clinic for 5 years.
My favorite part of this job is working with an elite team of service managers and caretakers to diagnose and prevent health issues in our barns. I enjoy developing protocols to address potential health challenges before they impact the animals under our care.

I’m originally from Pierson, IA but I currently live South of Ireton with my husband and two children. I have been working in the Swine Industry since 1995, when I was a Farrowing Manager for Iowa Select Farms for a 4,000 head sow farm. I did this for two years until I became the Farm Manager for Pork Elite, west of Ireton. This was a 2,400 head sow farm and I worked there for three years. I came to Farmers Coop Society in 2000 and have been a swine specialist/Contract Labor Coordinator ever since. My favorite part of working at FCS is the people. I enjoy everyone I work with and all the customers that I can help on a daily basis.

After completing my undergraduate degree I attended Iowa State University, receiving a M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics. I began a 15 year career with Anheuser-Busch and while there held a number of roles with progressive responsibilities. Then I spent 10 years with Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. as their Sr. VP of Supply Chain. In 2008, I came to Farmers Coop Society where I’ve spent the last 10 years in IT. My favorite part of my job is the variety of technologies I get to work with everyday. I also enjoy being able to visit every location in the company.

I grew up on a family farm in Menno, SD but currently live in Sioux Center, IA. I began my career with Farmers Coop Society in February 2018, and have responsibility for payroll, benefits, and work comp reporting. Previously, I spent 16 years with Walmart Stores Incorporated and was a Co-Manager of a Sioux Falls location. My favorite part of working at Farmers Coop Society is the variety in each day, and getting the chance to work with the divisions of FCS.

Mike is the new Human Resource Specialist, based out of the Sioux Center North Office. He looks forward to new challenges and applying his life experiences in a new way! Before joining our team, he worked as the City Manager of Hawarden. Mike spent 32 years working for the Municipal Government of Hawarden, most of that time was spent as a police officer and Chief of Police. Mike has spent his whole life in Hawarden. Him and his wife Leah will soon be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They have a son and daughter as well as 7 grandkids! Outside of work Mike enjoys clay target shooting, majority trap, traveling, and spending time with family!

I am originally from Madrid, IA but live in Sheldon. I started my professional career with The Foreign Candy Company in 2011, where I worked in Marketing. I came to Farmers Coop Society in 2018 as the Communications Manager. My favorite part of my job is getting to share the stories of our employees and our customers. All of our team truly cares for our customers and puts them first.
