Earn incentives for adopting regenerative practices through the Truterra® Carbon Program with Indigo.
Farmers Coop Society is excited to share that Truterra® has expanded its carbon program for 2025 through a new collaboration with Indigo Ag, Inc. This opportunity provides eligible growers the chance to earn financial incentives by adopting new regenerative practices.
This expanded program is open to new practice changes implemented in crop year 2025.
Why Enroll?
- Earn Incentives –A potential advance payment of $20/ton.
- Expand Your ROI – Implement sustainable practices that may improve soil health and profitability long-term.
Key Details:
- Enrollment Period: Now through September 2, 2025 (or until the 400,000-acre cap is met)
- Practice Change Year: Crop Year 2025
- Commitment: Annual contract with 5 yrs of practice maintenance, with potential for future contracts and payments
- Exclusivity: Fields cannot be enrolled in another private carbon program during the contract
Eligible Core Practices:
At least one of the following must be implemented:
- Cover crop usage
- Strip-till or no-till (no till includes a single pass (1-3” deep) of seedbed preparation)
- Addition of legumes to an existing cover crop mix
